I mean, it almost sounds like since they ARE cats, they still have that big open area in there...and with more flow comes more turbulence which is why perhaps you didn't feel that much of a difference? I know that gutted over stock is major to me on my car...so I'd hope you'd get a somewhat good jump in low end with RTs (not 100% of stock) and a good jump on top end. Kind of a best of both worlds. That doesn't seem so much the case, would you agree? Perhaps Test Pipes are the way to go...at least to try. All the gain top end and worst case they are no worse than gutted (and they surely should be better from the turbulence standpoint).
